History of 8 Kings road
8 Kings Road is a Grade II listed building built in the 18th Century. We are located in the Southsea area of Portsmouth, home of The Royal Navy and the world famous historic ships including HMS Victory, HMS Warrior and The Mary Rose.
The building has hosted a number of different businesses over the years, most recently a bank, however it was bought in 2006 and whilst carefully maintaining the historical features it has been restored, refurbished and renamed as one of Portsmouth's finest restaurants - 8 Kings Road.
In its new form a warm and relaxed environment has been created where the emphasis is on good quality food and fantastic entertainment.

The Brasserie _ 8 Kings Road is a truly unique venue for the perfect Wedding Reception or Party. This Grade II listed 18th Century building has been exquisitely refurbished to offer modern and contemporary surroundings in the historical setting of Portsmouth.
We are able to cater for up to 80 people for a sit down meal and up to 120 for a drinks reception/Champagne & Canapés evening etc.
